If you love Downton Abby and have watched the re-runs one too many times and are looking for a fix, look no furhter. This is a really fun read and captures an interesting intersection in American in British history. New American money finds its way to Europe in search of titles while European are selling titles to American heiresses in order to preserve their families' lands and homes. You also get a glimpse of the upstairs downstairs relationship and the differences between the American and British serving staff and their roles. This is a great historical romance. Random purchases, accidental authors (did not know her work and was not looking for her specifically).....make really good reads. This book was just what a gal needed to dive into while prepping for Christmas; Sisi of Austria, a good looking English gentleman and a young girl searching for her place in a world she is not particularily comfortable in....boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back..the end
I'd give this 3 1/2*. Pretty good historical fiction, although the ending is a little predictable.

I'd realty give the book a 2.5. It started off slowly but the last third of the story was good!
