I read the first book by Chris Rylander the fourth stall part 1 and it was really interesting so I decided to read this one. Although this book had a twisted plot line and intense moments it wasn't as good as the first one. A bit of a drag to be honest. My favourite character in this book was the new Vice Principal he was crazy and evil and everything he did was amusing to me. This book had an awesome quote that was funny "in highschool girls are more dangerous than shot guns." I liked this because I am a girl and I can understand this well. I recommend this book to both girls and boys in year 9 or 10 4.5 starsAfter dealing with the big crime boss who want to invade their territory, this time Mac and Vince have to face a grade 8th femme fatale and the big administration honcho. The pair is as hilarious as ever. I really have no idea how the author manage to blend the wisecracking noir detective voice with the 12 years old boy's way of thinking and make it work.The suspense is well done too. It kept me guessing for quite a while. The ending is a little over the top but still reasonable. Definitely going to grab Part III.
Great writing, just like the first one. Funny and edgy! Can't wait to read the 3rd!
