The Fourth Stall Part III (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I started reading this book because I had decided to read the final book of the Fourth Stall Triology. The book proved to be a very nice read, almost exceeding the past 2 iterations.What I liked about the book was the honesty and dedication of the characters in the story. For example, when Mac was suffering expulsion due to him being framed by his email address being connected to the attack on the school computers, leaving all of them internally destroyed, his best friend Vince was also accused, naturally since they were best friends. However, instead of blaming Vince and making him a part of the story, Mac did everything in his power to prevent Vince from getting in trouble. The traits of the characters are what make the book so insightful to read. Mac is back to start grade 7 and is retired from the business ... or not. Jimmy Two Tone has taken over the fourth stall and the business. But Kinko from Thief Valley School is planning to take over both schools. Mac tries to mend fences between the two schools and succeeds in mediating a payment of $4,000 and all the permanent records from his school. There is also a return visit from Staples, the bully Mac took down in book one. Kinko also happens to be Staples' sister. I didn't like this book as much. Mac really crossed the line when he hired Matches to start a fire at school as a diversion. The author kept his trademark humorous similes but this book didn't keep me that interested.
