The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest (2007) - Plot & Excerpts
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest was a beautiful end to an excellent series. The climax and story line intricately related to the previous two books in the series while also having a distinct plot of its own. By the end of the book, however, it seemed that the author was rushed to tie things up and the book lost a bit of its creative spark. Some of the conclusions to the series were a little too convenient and fantastical even for this book. Overall the book kept me interested throughout and was paced nicely. 4 stars. Loved this trilogy. Mr. Larsson must have been a fellow Aspie or known one well, because he nailed it. Think I know what my first tattoo will be, daughter Lizz! The first book was slow going for the first few chapters, but pay attention, boys and girls! You will need this information later. So, so worth it. I lose patience with a lot of backstory usually; very very glad I stuck it out. Very very sad there can only be three.

This one seemed a little less interesting than the previous two. Still a good read.
