Honestly? This book was a great idea. I love a good fairy-tale type story. But this book just didn't do it for me. Selkie's name was more interesting than her personality. She barely blinked when finding out she was half an ogre much less a faerie princess. No one is that easy going. And the time thing. If you're going to have something so confusing, it's best to eventually explain it all out instead of random blips in many places. I find I was more annoyed than entertained by this book. I wanted to like this one, but before long I found myself falling away and getting bored. Honestly, there's too much crap going on - the book is very jumbled and confusing, so it quickly gets to the point where I find myself REALLY wondering who's who and what's she? I just got so lost trying to make sense of it all, especially since a lot of details are so easily missed - I think I had to read Chapter 5 alone about three times. No more of this series for me, thanks. File under "Forgettable."
