The Goddess Test Boxed Set: The Goddess Test, Goddess Interrupted, The Goddess Inheritance,The Goddess Legacy (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I liked the original story, and continued on, but after the third book I was done. Kate's character seriously began to annoy the crap out of me. Also, the rest of the characters began grating on my nerves too. It started out as a cute story, and I was willing to forgive a few of the character's flaws at first, but they just carried over to the extreme. Yes, I am familiar with Mythology, but these were supposedly ancient beings running around with the functional capacity of about 12-15 year olds. I like it, at first, and then it became annoying. The first book - 4 star. The rest... eh - just a three. This series is one of my all-time FAVOURITE series. If you might've noticed in my books, I LOVE books that have 1.) romance2.) a bit of Greek mythology3.) and a good plotThis series covered all of that and is AMAZING!!!I really liked Kate and Henry, although I hate Peresephone. I liked how Aimee Cartier captured the image of the underworld and Hades home. This series was awesome and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys YA books!
