Inthe pages that follow, I will argue that "The Holocaust" is an ideologicalrepresentation of the Nazi holocaust.1 Like most ideologies, it bears aconnection, if tenuous, with reality. The Holocaust is not an arbitrary but ratheran internally coherent construct.
