After the first few chapters of the book, all I could think was: didn't they go through this already? And it went on for the rest of the book. While the fantasy world was fascinating, the characters lack depth, since they kept dancing around the same issue and bam! It's resolved and they get together. There didn't seem a lot of room for the hero and heroine to develop. It's a read bordering on boring and repetitive to me. Rating: 3.5 I enjoyed the interactions between the two main characters, Giles and Cecily, but I did not connect with the larger the story about the Rebellion and her father as much as I did in the first book. I loved that Cecily was a strong heroine and Giles a worthy match for her. I wish only that the overarching storyline kept my interest as much. Regardless, I still like this unique world and will be reading the next book.
What do You think about The Lady Of The Storm (2011)?
I think this becoming a must read series. I loved this couple!

Heroine at first I thought was TSTL but grew on me.
