I thought the magic thief will end as a trilogy but then Sarah Prineas write another sequel and she did not disappoint her readers. She definitely did an amazing job with the magic thief: home. Everything is perfect!!! A must read for magic thief fans. The only complain that I have is that I want more!! I don't want this series to end (well HOME seem to be the the final conclusion to the magic thief series but who knows maybe Sarah Prineas will surprise us again.) I had wondered how Prineas would work out adding to what had previously been a finished trilogy but she skillfully crafts a seamless transition. The world of Welmet with it's unique magic and politics is quite compelling. All of the characters that we left previously are now taking on the new roles (and the growing pain) that were laid out for them at the end of the former trilogy--but what about Con's role. This entry in the series is about what his role in the city and it's magic Con will assume--where does he fit in? As before there is plenty of magic and adventure reaching a fever pitch in a seemingly insurmountable situation--that is nevertheless overcome. I see further possibilities for extending the series and hope that it does continue!
I thought the series ended with "Lost" but thankyouthankyouthankyou for making another one!
