Love this spin on werewolves! I already had to go and buy the next two in the series. So many twists and turns (predictable and unexpected- so was not anticipating the big reveal about Victor Vargas and why Trajan hasn't killed him). Not sure, if I'd claim Isaac for a book boyfriend just yet (because let's face it, he's kind of a jerk the first half of the book), but I have hope he will redeem himself. I also love the side characters like Harry and Zia. The end was super confusing because you experience it as Adria does which is in and out of consciousness and dream state, so I'm very interested to see exactly what happened, although I do have my theories. Well, surprisingly it's good. It's been a while since I read paranormal YA. Last time I read it, it was Tiffany King's and I enjoyed it even though it was a wee bit ridiculous. This book on the other hand, is great. Yes, it's still kind of ridiculous because I'm not a fan of vampire or werewolf, but I liked the plot. Too bad while reading this book it reminds me of Twilight. You know, high school girl moved in to a small town, hang out with 'normal' crowd but then the 'weird' crowd starts noticed her then boom! The most handsome one fall for her. I don't really like insta-love that happens with Bella and Edward from Twilight, so I don't really like what happened with Isaac and Adria. But I enjoyed, overall this book's great and I can't wait to read the sequel. :)
What do You think about The Mayfair Moon (2000)?
I loved this book so much I had to read the rest of series which were great too!
