Exquisitely written descriptions of food which I sometimes found a little tedious, this is a story for lovers of Chocolat and Like Water for Chocolate that deals with the healing and magical nature of food. Individuals come together come together take a cooking class run by a rather mysterious chef. Each dish prepared reveals the story of a participant. While I don't think the resolutions are any surprise, the book is enjoyable and I'd recommend it to those who liked the above titles.
