More like a dead moth and a broken mirror...Sometimes novellas are essential to a series, must reads if you will. This was not one of those. It was mostly just one of the characters, and it actually ended up giving me a bad taste for this character that I didn't have before. We see his kind of psycho, irreparably damaged side by the torturing of sprites; we are also supposed to see motives for a really dumb decision, but I still don't feel we even got those, just a lot of bird lady screeching. I will see where I stand after Unhinged, but I don't really like one corner of this love triangle now..... Same rule applies here, wings DEFINITELY make it better ;P Where do I begin about A.G. Howard's amazing writing style? Throughout the entire Splintered series so far I have been pulled in to the books entirely. I give The Moth in the Mirror however, a 4.5. And here is my EXACT reason why... TEAM MORPHEUS. Don't get me wrong, at the beginning I loved Jeb and despised Morpheus. I have grown to truly love him and would have loved for there to be more about him. However, I do recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the Splintered series so far! Now the anxious wait for Ensnared...
What do You think about The Moth In The Mirror (2013)?
Amazing. It explains (ever more) why Jeb hates Morpheus. It shows Jebs view of the whole book.
