At exactly ten to ten on day two of The New Bernice Plan the following morning, tongue in cheek, Facebook update posted, I arrived twenty minutes late to the glorious outdoor kitchen of Taverna Antipodes in the village square for the next item on the tour group itinerary: a Greek cookery lesson. Our instructor for the day was Michaela, a tall, slender, flame-haired young woman who continued with her talk as I hustled in.
