The phrase swam into her dazed brain. It had never made sense to her before, but that’s exactly what she was doing. The feel of him, the smell of him, the taste when she finally allowed herself to slide her tongue along his neck. “I have to say something,” she gasped. But then she couldn’t remember what it was. The utter, overwhelming sweetness of Fred’s hands on her drove everything else from her mind. “Can it wait?” His mouth was buried somewhere in her hair so he could deliver maddening nibbles along the whorls of her ear. “Because I don’t think I can stop.”
