The Other Fish In The Sea (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

Ok, it's currently 3 AM, so I'm going to write this reveiw short and sweet so I can go to bed. This might actually turn into a vent, so please bear with me.The book was AMAZING...for the most part. What I didn't like was on the one hand, Tristan was being a huge ass about the whole sex thing. Ok one minute hed say it was all good and he'd wait, the next he'd be cussing a storm and flying off in a rage because he didn't have it. I mean my god this girl is 15 chill the crap out. You're almost 18 she's almost 16 what did you expect? Also on the other hand, camie is being VERY prudish at some points. For example don't tell him your not ready for it and them offer it to him in exchange for a dance (I totally side with Tristan in that part btw) and yea, I do think Tristan overreacted very much at the scene at the very end of the book, but seriously camie. Get your priorities straight. She's dating a guy that's had sex since he was young and she's setting all these rules and referring them to a baseball game?!(never understood that, still confused by that whole analogy) I mean come on camie, he's not going to be satisfied forever with just kissing. (I say that in the nicest way possiblySo, in conclusion, I loved the writing and most of the scared in this book, but I just didn't like some of he choices that the characters were making. *IGNORE NEXT PART IT HAS A SMALL SPOILER AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO HIDE IT*Finally with the whole tattoo thing? Camie you're 15; don't get a tattoo at 15. Also isn't that illegal? The point is even further proven at the end of the book, when it blows up in her face. Smooth move camie. Smooth move. I am really enjoying this series. And I have to read the next one...tomorrow!...since this one ends with a CH of sorts. But, while I do enjoy the story, I did not at all enjoy the jumping back and forth between unidentified POV s. Yes the author warned of them, but I thought they were annoying. It was clear it wasn't Cammie, but to have to figure it out was irritating at best. I just hope that's over in the third book. Turned this 4* read into just 3 for me.

What do You think about The Other Fish In The Sea (2013)?
