I had to read this book for a grade in my Spanish class. When I first started reading the book I didn't understand that it was a true story and that this girl actually did this. It was a really good book and I'm glad we had to read this book because I probably wouldn't have even know about this. My favorite part about this book was when she presented her senior project to everybody, it showed how much she cared about what she was doing and made people think about why she did the project that she did. I read the book The Pregnancy Project by: Gaby Rodriguez. In this book Gaby had to come up with an idea for her senior long project. It took her a while to come up with the idea but it had to be something that relates to her in some way. She found something that she has seen all throughout her family ¨Teen Pregnancy.¨ Gaby didn’t know how she would make something work with the topic of teen pregnancy but she was determined to use that as her project. Gaby came up with a crazy but great plan for her project. All throughout her book she explains how it relates to her family and how she does her project in the end she gave a whole school presentation. Everyone was shocked! I really enjoyed the book from the moment I started reading, and I would recommend it to anyone who want to know how she did a change in her school. If i would recommend it someone I would tell them before they started reading that when they start reading they won’t be able to put the book down until they finish with it. After I read it I was in shocked how she was able to deal with something like that and being able to deal with all the things people would comment. Also how much research and things she did for the beginning of all her project. I would probably share my reactions with them. I really enjoyed the book from beginning to the end. Such a good book to be a non fiction.
This book was okay in my opinion because it was off to a slow start an then it got a little better.
