I really enjoyed this book. I have passed it by many times because I was judging it by the cover. Not a great cover. The story was fun and interesting. A young lady finds herself talked into trying out for a part in a film playing a princess but finds out that there isn't a film and she is just supposed to be standing in for a missing princess. The plot thickens with rebels and threats of civil war and family revelations. I think it would be great for the 10-14 age group of girls. This is actually translated from German. A fun read! 2.5 stars (for me, higher for a young person) Jenna is chosen to play a princess in a movie, she thinks, until she is kidnapped and meets the real princess. It was an exciting enough idea but it is written for a Junior aged audience (9 to 12). The stilted speech and short explanations of the action or emotions make it obvious that it was translated from another language. It got much more exciting 2/3 of the way in.
From the beginning it wasn't very interesting. I wasn't pulled into the story.

Overall this was a fun book, but I found it slightly hard to follow at times.
