This book could have benefitted from more editing, as there were a lot of spelling, grammar and sentence structure errors, which, coupled with the cliffhanger ending, are what led to my four star, instead of five star review. Overall I found the story and characters very engaging and I will be reading The Innocent to see how the relationships between Serena, Price and Sebastian end up. I thought when it started that I was reading a replay of Gabriel and Julia with the Professor/student romance....boy was I wrong! I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next in this ongoing story.Wickedly handsome Sebastian Sorenson is the wildly wealthy and famous composer who through his love of music is also a professor who's passionate about teaching to share that love with his students.Serena Singleton was the beautiful break away submissive coming to her own, determined to follow her dream of being a composer seeking her professor as her academic adviser. The chemistry between Serena and Sebastian is Hot and Serena chooses to take a different roll as Sebastian's secret Protege. Many mysterious twists and turns is this premiere adult romantic exotic thriller by the talented Kailin Gow
What do You think about The Protege (2013)?
I stopped reading it when she left Sebastion. I just couldn't get into it. I'll try it again later
