Reverend Curtis Black returns, again. Hopefully this is the end of this series. I believe that every aspect of this minister's deceiptful life has been adddressed, and every family member has been acknowledged. This time Curtis makes a decision to leave his wife after Matthew graduates High School, but with his wife not giving up on his marriage and a new woman not willing to give up on a relationship, Curtis finds himself torn and on unfamiliar territory. Thankfully, all ends well, until Matthew drops his news... I really wanted to like this book, and I love works by this author. This book just fell a little short for me. I just think it took too long to get to the point, and then everything just wrapped up so to speak. I kept waiting for excitement that usually flows throughout her books only to be disappointed. As I have said, I do enjoy other books by this author, so as always I still can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
What do You think about The Reverend's Wife (2000)?
Easy read, predictable if you've read other books in this series
