The Runner's Rule Book: Everything A Runner Needs To Know - And Then Some (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
I loved this book. Ryan checked it out from the library about a year ago, but then when he ran the Boston Marathon in April 2011, Mark Remy was at the Runner's expo signing copies of the book so we bought it. And, I got around to it now, and I even for a beginner-off and on runner like me I think this book was informational. But, it wasn't just a dry etiquette book, Mark Remy presented it in an interesting, and sometimes even humorous manner. Finished this book in a day. It is by no means a book for beginning runner's seeking serious training advice. It does contain some common sense/etiquette, but not the book you should be looking to for an idea of how to start. This book is mean to be a funny, light read and it succeeds in doing just that. Can't tell you how many times I chuckled to myself while tearing through this book (read it in less than a day).

I read this after The Runners Field Manual. Some of the info seemed to be the same.

Brilliant. Great for the runner in need of a laugh.
