The Secrets Of Sir Richard Kenworthy LP (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
I liked this, that should be the last installment in the Smythe-Smith Series. Richard and Iris are quite a good couple and they are witty and entertaining, I just felt like the finale was too rushed, I would have liked to see how the forgiveness would have go on, I mean, it was a big betrayal but it seemed to be so forgettable. Comunque Julia Quinn per quanto mi riguarda é sempre una piacevole lettura.THANKS TO CLARA FROM ORBIT FOR THE PREVIEW! Yes, Sir Richard has secrets. Secrets that he does not share with Iris, even after she marries him. While the reader is privy to this fact, we are kept in the dark about what the secret is too, until Iris finds out. And while Iris is quiet but sarcastic, a talented musician stuck in the terrible family musicale every year, she is very much a likeable character. The more I think about this book, the more I appreciate the delicate balance that Ms Quinn had to tread to make me still root for Richard. Because I did. And I commend her skill at building these complicated characters! A lovely, family-centric romance with some fun moments, courtesy of Iris's sarcasm.
What do You think about The Secrets Of Sir Richard Kenworthy LP (2000)?
Wonderful! Julia Quinn writes excellent historical romances, and this one is no exception.
