Quick read. It's a true story about a couple who's dog was stolen out of of their backyard and what they did to try and get him back. It shows how horrible or awesome strangers can be. I couldn't believe the behavior of some of the people in this book who didn't give a shit. Some of things that happened I did question, but it's based on a true story so I guess I have to believe. The couple was lucky with the resources they were able to use. I wonder if it was me, would I have been given the same opportunities to get the word out about my dog if she was missing. I did tear up at the end. I would go crazy if my dog was missing. If you're a dog owner I recommend this book. I read this on my kindle. The title says it all what this book is about. Briggs a Boston Terrier is stolen out of his own yard.the author, Tricia O'Malley writes about the extent they took to find their beloved dog. starting out with lost posters around their city on Wisconsin. eventually putting in out on Facebook, radio shows. it was touching how many people came together to help Tricia and her husband find their dog Briggs. I read this in two days because i had to know if this had a happy ending. It did! I especially liked along the way they ended up adopting another Boston Terrier so Briggs ended up with a brother. won't give away how they got the other dog or how long it took before they got their Briggs back. anyone who loves dogs and wants the happy ending may like this book.
This book was an enjoyable book. It wasn't anything earth shattering, but I enjoyed reading it.
