Security had been rotated with a new guard and Cole felt obliged to go out and deliver some sweet tea. Tropical storm Andrea was still in Florida but her winds were slowly arriving, cutting through the syrupy air, dense with moist heat. Summer was on its way and the area’s only saviors were the coastal winds and storms that came like clockwork at three in the afternoon. The random tropical storm or hurricane was often seen as a mixed blessing, cooling off the unbearable summers, but wreaking havoc with its winds and tornados. By ten-thirty Cash was back. The remainder of the ‘team,’ as Cole thought of them, was there within minutes. Agent Leas looked a little shocked when he walked in to see Cash in the kitchen adding ice to his glass of tea. Leas shook it off and focused on the task. He was followed by Daniel Page, who had agreed at dinner in Charleston to assist in digging up anything on Poinsett, now swaggering in with nothing in his hands but an iPad and some papers.
