First for the good I loved the hero and his mates, sweet cute funny as. Such a pity he ended up with one of the worst heroines I've read for ages probably up there with the worst three maybe. She totally sucked. Where to even begin with how awful she is...Her personality was that of a 14 year old teanager not a supposedly mature women in her mid to late twenties, god that awful Bbq scene when she spouts of? It would be vaguely forgivable in a teenager you know that awkward pathetic kid who brags about his or her "exploits" to try to be more popular but ends up looking like a total try hard? For a grown woman to do it in front of mixed company she didn't know particularly well, just becomes cringe worthy... embarrassment for her and everyone else there. To be blunt she comes across as crass, immature and stupid with no empathy at all. It is sad when even the character written to be a bitch came across as a more likeable character then the tstl heroine. I want a heroine I could imagine being mates with not someone I would avoid like the plague. The icing on the cake for this unlikeable heroine? After the hero askes her in one of the only truly sweet scenes not to speed again in her car as he has seen to many accidents and doesn't want to be the one opening the door to the cops. What does she do? The last scene has her speeding again to tell him that she loves him. WTF!! She couldn't have waited at home to tell him? You had just promised you would never speed again you stupid heroine. So anyway my thoughts on what should happen next in the story? TSTL ex- heroine runs out of Timtams. Oh no this is a crises that warrants breaking that promise! Speeding in the car she wraps herself around a tree sadly injuring a visiting scientist there to study the local geology as well as taking herself out. The scientists' daughter also a scientist shows up and meets the hero ...................... Happy ever after The End.. I don't know why but I just couldn't get into this book. When I read the synopsis I felt like it had great potential to be an AMAZING story but when I started reading it, I felt like it was lacking something. The first sex scene I didn't think was realistic and from then on I just kept going back and forth between like some bits and not liking others.I also felt no connection to the characters and their relationship moved a little to quickly.
Some very funny moments. I wish it had been longer and the relationship had more time to develop.

This was a really cute read. The playfulness between Sophie and Alan is really cute.
