This book almost broke me. I recognized much of myself in Pia, even in Zoran. I felt their pain to the point that I almost had to put the book down. That and all the steam was fogging my glasses. I had to put it down and catch my breathe. After I took some of the pressure off with my guy, i hopped back in for more fun. #lovedit I am putting the Lords to sleep for awhile. I see a "Frost Maiden" that's caught my eye. This is the fourth story in a series of four princes who must send off for brides since their planet mostly produces males. Pia comes to this planet. She was burned very badly and has extensive scarring. She receives plastic surgery and becomes someone new. But she still has the scars internally to deal with when she is lifemated to Zoran. Zoran does not understand this at first and only sees the beautiful woman that she represents now.
Taking a break from this series was the best thing I could've ever done. I really enjoyed this book!
