What do You think about Their Virgin Concubine (2012)?
I liked Piper a lot. She was naive as far as sexual relationships go, but any woman who will take the initiative to fight for and then raise her younger sister, while at the same time putting herself through school, gets a giant vote from me. Not only that, but she took a entry level position in a company where they offered her more, just so she can earn her way on her own merit, while paying for her sister to go to school. What more can you ask for in a heroine. What I didn't like is how the men who are supposed to be our heroes, especially Talib, could manipulate and reduce her to nothing. He spent the most time communicating with her, so he should have wanted to treat her better. The others are not excused. She told Kade and Rafe about her previous relationship and they still let her be treated the exact same way by their brother. That being said, I loved watching her grow into the woman she really was on the inside and was great journey, but I never really warmed up to any of the men she was with. I understood the customs that they had to follow, but I still felt they didn't have to keep her in the dark about it.I also didn't like that she was making excuses for any of their, or mainly Talib's, bad behavior. He should have had to grovel for a long while to get in her good graces.Piper was too good for them, and they didn't deserve her.

This is my favourite so far of the 'Their Virgin...' series:) For me, it was really the "Piper and Tal Show" although Kade and Rafe were a hot supporting cast!I liked that Piper's strength, intelligence and determination was apparent right through this book.Tal had a few demons of his own to overcome before he was 'on board'. The authors made his journey, for me, frustrating, exciting and ultimately rewarding:) My kinda book!
