Ok, wow. That was strange. See, I was expecting a great story, one that would keep me up for a while. And I definitely got a great story... with a few plot holes, and random make ups, but the writing was all 'told'. And I could not handle it. It was so strange, it I actually felt like I was reading a book, not emersed in the story. Crap. So yeah...The characters also annoyed the hell out of me, but the basic storyline wasn't bad. A small twist on the generic brother's best friend thing... But with some more assholes and bitchiness. I love reading books. I try to read all types of genres to keep my reviews fair. There are some books that I literally laugh out loud, cry and even get frustrated at the characters, but not many. Mostly I just read and hopefully enjoy the story, whether the characters are serious, immature, psychotic, etc. because that's what a story is suppose to be.This story was great, very believable, and emotional. And yes, at times I actually cried and got angry at a character for being so stupid. A story of a past affair and the resulting child and her life during her first year of college, her over-bearing, over-protective half-twin brothers, and the boy she falls in love with. There were some areas that editing should have been done better, but not to the point that I couldn't read the story. I would have given it 5 stars, but I feel that I had to leave one off due to the typos.
