This Too Shall PassI love a sweet slow moving love story and that’s exactly what this was.It allows you to experience the characters to get into their heads to discover what fears they have and what emotions they are feeling.Alexis McKinley had been burned and abandoned in love before, her high school sweetheart Mitch broke her heart. She vowed to never let another man touch her heart to avoid feeling that pain. Alexis kept her busy for years after restoring her farmhouse and getting her photography business established. Then one day Dr. Cory Baker came into town and soon all her defenses would shatter. Dr Baker is a tall attractive single man and Alexis knew she would have to be careful around him! Alexis knows he’s hiding something; he whispers on the phone and for some unknown reason always goes home at 7:00pm.What a great story, I laughed, cried and at times was yelling at my kindle for Alexis “not to do it”! The bond Alexis has with her family was a strong one and I felt angry when introduced to Cory’s family. Life and love in a small town isn’t alwayseasy and I cheered the entire way for a happy ending! At the beginning it was very slow! The content and the development of the story takes a while. There is a lot if sex involved that I think could have been substituted to depend THE story.By a little more than 60% of the story it picks up interest again and continues till the end. Also I like this story because it was a STANDALONE BOOK! I read it, like the book END OF THE STORY AND I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT A FEW MONTHS for the next book!
