I LOVE Boss, but Jen not so much. I just couldn't buy the whole marrying Ethan's brother, Kyle, to keep Ethan safe. She stayed with him all those years through verbal and physical abuse. Even when she was got the crap kicked out of her and landed in the hospital, she still ended up forgiving him.I can't speak for battered women, but Jen was just unbelievable in how much abuse she willingly took, and even after Bulk got her out, she went back for more. The fact that Boss killed for her, and she sided with Kyle was just unreal. Despite all of that, I did love the story because of Boss and Bulk who were just the sweetest yet very masculine men. Their protectiveness and loving attitudes made the book.Grammatically speaking, this was much better than book one, but there are still some glaring errors. Better editing would really enhance the overall feel of the book. Oh what I mix of emotions written within these pages boss loves Jen but Jen is married to Kyle boss's brother and at the age of sixteen Kyle found out and moved them far away from boss. The return of boss from the states finds him face to face with Jen but eleven years apart and Kyle constantly beating Jen, boss knows he can't stay away this time. There is a tug of war with your emotions and also the strength of the characters will have you engrossed brilliant twists and turns
What do You think about Thrilling Heaven (2013)?
Another fantastic story, although I do find this author's writing a bit repetative.
