GoodMatt is a cop by day sexy Dom and Master at Shibari by night. When he meets sexy sweets chef Nic he cant wait to get her into his ropes and she discovers that she really likes it. What neither of them expected was to fall head over heels in love. Nic cant have children though and thinks that she is all wrong for Matt. I must say I had really been looking forward to this one. It was the cover that caught my eye that got me started on the series. It was a very good sweet story with just a little kink thrown in there. I gotta say I wish that it would have went a little further though. It just didn't have the bite that I was looking for. Tied With Me is a continuation of Kristen Proby's With Me In Seattle series, and explores the relationship of part-time Dominant and eldest Montgomery brother, Matt, and Nicole "Nic" Dalton - owner of Succulent Sweets and creator of all sweet things extraordinaire. Nic and Matt meet when Nic is convinced to attend an erotic festival. Something draws Nic to the bondage portion of the gathering, and she finds herself being tied by a gorgeous specimen of man dressed in black. There is an immediate connection between the two and they end up leaving together. After a quick romp in her apartment, Matt is called away by work and leaves without getting her number. She believes that's the last she'll see of him.Until the tie-in to Safe With Me, when she prepares the cupcakes for Brynna and Caleb's wedding and comes face to face with the man who scared and excited her in equal measure.Matt had been an idiot, refusing to call Nic despite having hunted down her number almost as soon as he left her that first night. Whatever it was about her, he wasn't sure he was ready for it. It's complete kismet when she shows up at his little brother's wedding. He doesn't let her go, and sets off convincing her to be his friend if nothing else. He can see that she is unsure about the bondage thing. In typical fashion for this series, it doesn't take long to move past friendship into full-blown relationship, into "my life doesn't work without you" territory. It's barely a few months before Matt realizes she is the one, and she believes that she is not good enough for him. Nic has a few issue and hangups that make her think that she can never give him what he truly deserves. It's a bit of a typical story line, but done in a different way. Of course, their separation doesn't last very long before they are settled and loving each other once again. I think these two have a long road ahead of them, and it'll be interesting to catch up with them in the remainder of this series. I'm pretty sure that's my favorite part - I always like that these characters' stories are never really finished. We never have to leave much to the imagination :-)
