This book had suspense, some action (shoot 'em up at the restaurant and a car chase that ended with the beautiful car down in the river), lust & sex. There are a few flaws. There was a love scene that should not have been written in. Then, on page 337, JP, Marc, and Zack were going to follow Detective Larkin & Kennedy Keegan. They got into JP's truck. Zach gave JP directions and informed him stay on their tail. However, a few paragraphs down, I read that Marc was driving down an alley. Did I miss something? I didn't think it was that long of a drive to warrant changing drivers. Also, the basement where the gas was only a feet away from the pilot light...the explosion should have taken everyone out. Nonetheless, it had suspense, action, sex. I really enjoyed Edge Of Sight. The suspense plot was strong and I liked the process of finding out what happened but it was really the characters that I enjoyed the most. I particularly loved reading about Zach and how he had to regain his confidence that he could be useful as a bodyguard despite his serious injuries (including the loss of an eye). I always find books where the character undergoes an internal struggle related to getting their confidence back to be interested and St. Claire does a good job with this. I will definitely read more books by Roxanne St. Claire.
What do You think about Témoin En Détresse (2013)?
Took a couple of chapters to get in to it but turned out very good! Glad to read the second book
