This story was okay, it seems like a romance type story that could have used a bit more effort. I liked Janet, Paul and Candace but the other characters I didn't care for. I did start warming up to Dean/Dennis at the end. Some things in the story just didn't seem believable. Can they really use that evidence that they obtained from Tom's laptop, I would think they would need a warrant. It doesn't seem like that would fly in the real world. I might read the next book to see if it's better than this one. 2.5 I did like it but I felt that the characters were a bit fake. I kept thinking, "people don't really think or say that do they?" Of course I have never lived in a big city and certainly don't have a career like the characters in this book... which is probably why I found it a bit hard to relate. Once I got into the book I got the "I need to see how it ends" bug and stayed up too late one night to finish. There is some jargon and people obsessed with their outward appearances but it was alright.
This story was not my cup of tea. The writing was good, however I just found it to be bland.

It was OK. I actually finished it, but I didn't really like Dean....

Book was ok, ended abruptly and was just blah.
