I can truthfully say I was blown away by this book. I have read some of this author's other books and was not impressed. I am not sure if it was the setting, I am from Louisiana, or the characters or the writing style, or maybe all together. But for some reason this book I could not put down. My only problem is the cliffhanger ending and having to wait for book two which is not out yet. Almost gave the author a one star deduction cause of that. LOL I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars. It was funny, it was thrilling, it was freaking hillarious...and still..it was missing a bit, just a little bit.So I go for a 4 star review because I really liked it. It had the air of a film noir, combined with comedy...yep.yep. I know, how is this possible? It is, read the book.What I loved most? Of course Snowflake, who wouldn't love a giant white aligator?What I hated most? That I have to wait for the next book because, seriously, that end was no end, I want my guys together at the end of a book, otherwise I'm not happy. Do you hear me?Okay...so..when is the release date for the next one?
