The 1 Night Stand Series for some extremely odd reason is one I really enjoy. This book was no exception from the start. Leah and Jackson was a super fast read. I loved it. I don't know why I enjoy these. I think the author could've added a few more pages to lock it up a bit tighter but these are what you get when you read novellas. I bought the Box of 21, 1NightStands. So glad I did, this one made me smile. I'm not sure what the criteria is for this series but I love the broken people being brought together by Eve. This was a great read and I'll let the abrupt ending slide. A woman whose fiancé died in Afghanistan needs to put those old memories to bed, so she sets up a one-night stand through a specialty dating service. The dating service broker calls on her buddy, mega-rich hotelier Jackson Castillo, to be the boytoy of the evening because he looks exactly like the woman's dead bf. He has no intention of actually sleeping with her, but of course he does and hearts are healed and life-long attitudes are changed, and all ends HEA.In a way I wish this one had been longer and more serious about the issue of sex used to cope with grief issues, but this is a fluffy little quickie and there was no room for psychological probing. So I can't get too upset about that. The sex was ok, pretty standard. Probably my enjoyment of it - for I did enjoy it - was me filling in the blanks. The first half of the story was pretty good and the concept of a one-night stand dating service was original (at least to me), but once the sex started it became run of the mill and lost some of it's punch.3.5 to 4 stars.
What do You think about To Feel Again (2011)?
