This was cute and just what I was in the mood for. Non-angsty, non-controversial, creampuff-type story with no real conflict and a HEA. I would have given it one more star if it included a sappy epilogue, but no such luck.A light read, without a lot of tension. Cute enough, even if the characters are fairly generic and mild mannered. What would happen in a slightly different England, if a 'regular' girl who is a bit of a klutz fell into some shrubbery at a party and was rescued by the young and eligible Prince of Wales? Well, this book is what. But in a milder England with a kinder press, and a fairly level-headed regular girl, there isn't much conflict or tension to be had. And when the Prince of Wales is a nice guy who is polite, dull and looks after his love interest, commoner be damned, then it makes for a fairly tepid, but sweet story. In the circumstances it was exactly what I was in the mood for, and it made for a decent read. Just don't expect too much from it.

Good read if you like a bit of relaxing trashiness. Nothing special but very entertaining!
