Wie Man Einen Prinzen Heiratet (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
I really liked this one. Bella Greenwood is an ordinary girl who has just come back into the UK from working abroad on an island. She meets someone at a party not realising that he is in fact Richard, Prince of Wales. They start a whirlwind romance and will they get their happily ever after? I could see this being made into a film. It's not really a naughty romance, although situations are implied, but it is more about their relationships and the things they go through. There are some very funny moments too, one part made me actually laugh out loud. I was in search of a light, fluffy and sweet read where you didn't have to think too much and this was perfect. The end was a bit predictable, there is a person online being rude and horrible to Bella and through out the book you try to guess who it is, and I kind of guessed who it was right away. but this is worth reading 2/5Good for a once through if you find yourself between more solid novels. The plot? Limited. Not much happening, until a rush of disjointed semi-amusing 'incidents' in final third. I get a strong feeling the author used those events to string this out to 'novel length'Alright, but for most part nothing actually happens beyond warm fuzz (not bad, if its what you want/like)Characterisation? Respectably average. Ive seen a he k lot worse stuff published with poorer characterisation. Prose: BAD. Sorry, but i HATE authors who think dropping in unnecessary punctuation somehow makes them look clever. I call it Dan Brown syndrome and it grates on my smooth gay man-tit!
