I find Caitlin R. Kiernan's novels to be compelling and deliciously creepy, but this one was a disappointment especially in light of her supernatural masterpiece The Red Tree. I often found myself wondering what the point of this story was, or why I was feeling so bored. I wanted the focal point of the story to be on the supernatural, but the writing style surrounding the protagonist's mental illness was a bit over the top and ended up muddling the entire plot. Interesting concepts and mysteries. The book was a ghost story or was it Psychological imaginations of a tortured girl? I liked the mystery components and the psychological themes going through, but there were some themes I were not ready yet to read in fantasy/Sci Fi just yet. As society progresses and I improve myself in society (accept peoples choices and accept people for who they are) I might enjoy this books more.
Imposible de describir esta lectura. Intimista, locura, y muchas cosas que encierra Imp.
