Ever go to read a book and get so drawn in that you cannot put it down ~ Well, that was me with this book. I started to read this book one evening while with the family, they were quickly ignored as Fallon's life on the run quickly took hold of my attention. Her mother never told her why they were running or always on the move just that they had to be. Fallon was always the new girl that never fit in. She struggles with every new school, every new stop, and never gets answers. Told her father died and being followed by a mysterious guy on a motorcycle. Her mother moves them every time either is mentioned or the latter is seen. Fallon has a soulful pull towards her mystery man, one she has never seen, she can feel him close and is drawn in by unknown powers. One day all this changes, it all changes when she causes an earthquake and he rescues her. Her life is never the same. Without giving away the goodies of the story but enticing you with some bait.... Fallon, who never belonged, is not fully human - Nope, she isn't but oh my when you find out what she is you won't believe it... This story is like none other I've read, You cannot possibly guess what is coming next and you are never disappointed by any of the turns the story takes.I would HIGHLY recommend this book to those who love YA/Paranormal/Sci-Fi/Fantasy .... You will not be disappointed. If rating on stars Airicka Phoenix would definitely earn 5 from me! *I received this book in exchange for an honest review*This book started off alright but then I started to not enjoy it after there was a lot that the author didn't address. I feel that if we hear the story from the protagonist's point of view, we should privy to what they're thinking and know more about them than other characters. In this story, two characters will be having a conversation and I'd have no idea what they're talking about. Therefore, I didn't enjoy the book as much as I could have. This being said, I can't say that standard of the writing was bad or anything like that. This definitely was not my kind of story though and I didn't connect to the heroine at all. I do thank the author for letting me read it.
