I loved the first book in this series. Well, I mostly loved the first book. There were moments I wanted to strangle both M and Livy, but that makes a book good. I gave the first book 5 stars, but it couldn't give this one 5 stars. We saw much more character development of Miller, and I was truly able to care for him. His "thing" didn't even annoy me as much this time. Livy was devilishly annoying to me, though. However much I was annoyed by certain aspects of this book, I feel like it can't get a fair rating until we get to read the final book in the series. We need to see what happens and have the rest of the story made clear. I knew the cliffhanger at the end was going to happen. I knew that person had to be involved in some way-- now, we just have to wait to find out how... Another fantastic read by Jodi. I'm absolutely loving the OCD 'give me my thing' Miller. he's dark dangerous and the plot thickens as we discover more of Miller's past and how Livy has become involved further than she knows in his dark world. The story picks up where it left off in book one and it's gripping to the point you don't want to put it down. With a lot of angst and great strength show by Livy we begin to understand what makes Miller tick. I can't wait for book 3 please hurry!
