Lots of very good storyline and great secondary characters.. I am completely addicted to this series. In this book he is the main character, and Kalli is also a main character.This book was packed full of danger, betrayals, love, lust, hot sex scenes that make you break out in a sweat, adventure, romance, nail biting anxiety, angst, jealousy and even a dash of humor! This book is rich with a cast of delightful and hate worthy characters as well as bringing back other characters from the first two books.In this book, Tristan, who is an alpha wolf, runs the Lyceun Wolves pack out of Philadelphia. He has been single his whole adult life and is over 150 years old. He is wealthy and handsome and everyone wants to claim him as their mate, but he is content to stay single and reap the rewards of his station in life. He is a wonderful caring leader of his pack and everyone loves him and respects him.Without going into too much detail, trouble has knocked on his door as someone has killed one of his wolves and injured another. Something is really wrong, and that topped off by his sister being kidnapped in the last book, he knows betrayal is happening but unaware of where it has originated from. When he sees Kalli for the first time he experiences feelings he has never known before.Kalli is a wolf hiding in the light of day in plain sight. No one knows she is a wolf and she has a secret weapon that masks her scent.She is a animal doctor, and has developed a medication that will hide her scent and she is safe-so she thinks.What mistake!Kalli has been to Tristan's night club and had seen his huge snake that lives behind the bar. One day she sees two men, whom she can scent are wolves, run out of the place and then smells smoke. She runs in and rescues the snake.She is caught on tape doing this and that's how everything starts out . What happens after this you will have to read to find out!One of my favorite quotes in the book is when Tristan and Kalli are talking in the kitchen and they are both feeling things towards each other they do not understand, and Kalli informs Tristan she is leaving - he is not letting her leave and she says to him, "Did you hear what I said? I have patients. A job. I don't want to get fired" and "I really need to get back to work today." To which Tristan replies, "Yeah about that. No. Great eggs by the way". "But I have to go, I've been missing for days. How am I supposed to explain this to my boss? I have patients, they need me." and Tristan replies, "Again, that would be a no. You will not be returning to work until my pack business is resolved." This shows his dominant alpha character, and she is so mad about it as she tried to be human and does not want to accept pack ways. When Tristan finds out she is wolf and about the medication, which indirectly led to the deaths of his two wolves- thats when s___ hits the fan!!Do yourself a favor and read all these books. You will be glad you did. I am now signing off to read book 4, Logan's Acadian Wolves.Stay tuned, I will let you know how it is!I give this book a 5 ***** Star rating although I would love to give it a 10!!

This was one if the best in the series. Love the paranormal especially the wolves. Great reading.
