True Love And Other Disasters LP (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
This was a decent read and I really enjoyed it. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Rating wise: Its worth more than three stars because of how much I enjoyed it, but the writing was predictable and there was nothing super special about the book that warrants four stars so I'm going to say four stars for enjoyment, but three stars for book quality. I wanted a hockey book and this was exactly it. It had a lot of similarities to See Jane Score which is the reason I couldn't give it four stars for quality. I don't want to read the same exact story over and over again. It wasn't exactly the same, but similar enough to warrant comment. 4.5 (rounding up) Another fantastic read from the Chinooks series. I wasn't sure when this one started how I was going to like it but it turns out that although Faith was a stripper/playmate/trophy-wife she was much more relatable then I imagined. I loved Ty Savage *sigh*, he makes me want to become an avid Hockey fan! I found myself smiling a lot while reading this one. My one complaint would be that in the end I wanted more. I really wish there was an epilogue that took a little further into the future of Ty & Faith. But overall, loving this series!
