I really enjoyed this book, not only because I love Janet Jackson, but because you can feel her pain in her darkest times, which alot of us women can relate. I think for any women who can come out and really speak out of all the insecurities must of us women have is great, it makes you realize that celebrity or not we are all humans & face daily struggles! Janet is a strong woman & a great inspiration! A very insightful view into the journey of Ms. Jackson. You get to see the side of her that is rumored and what you see on tv. She make her life open to all that wants to know more about her. The journey as you read it was long and filled with ups, downs, ins, outs, and all that in between. All in all if you are a Jackson fan you will enjoy the book. Her book also have some of the recipes she enjoys on her new healthy eating ritual.
2.5 ReallyLight read. More like a self-help book than a memoir. Very likable and easy read.
