Trust Agents (Revised And Updated): Using The Web To Build Influence, Improve Reputation, And Earn Trust (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
I enjoyed this book, which changed my approach to my online business in many ways. It was made clear to me that I need to take my time in order to build trust, before I can really expect to create a solid online business presence. The changes I made as I read the book are already bearing fruit in terms of traffic quantity and, more importantly, quality. What is even more valuable, the advice I received has improved my online experience. I know it will take time to reach my business goals, but this book certainly help set my sails and rudder more appropriately. Lots to learn yet. -k (FitOldDog) Good book but seems very much like common sense. I felt that it's as if this was a self-help book on relationships but from a social media context. It's like it's a shame that this book needs to be written for those who forget how to build trusting relationships with people. This book is targeted at marketeers and yet, the irony is that marketeers are human beings first, before they are marketeers, trying to sell stuff to people. It's funny how a lot of marketeers seem to completely shut down the inherently human trait of being social when they're in business scenarios.
