Tuesday Night Miracles (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

This book follows 4 women in a court-ordered anger management class plus the life of their psychologist. The assignments that are given are a little off course but are an experiment in rehabilitation. The women could choose to change the course of their lives or stay and live the way they currently do. Will the anger take over or can these women find a new way to live? The assignments are tailored to each woman and helps them take a look inside themselves. The goal is to get each woman to choose a better life without so much anger. But, how many will succeed and how many will fail. In a class that is only a 20 to 30% success rate it tends to be a challenge for them all. This book gave a bit of insight into anger and how it surfaces and how to distract yourself from it. I found this book fascinating .It involved four women who went through the court system because of issues with anger management. They attend a group run by a psychologist. The group was run by a very innovative and creative professional supporting these women to to face their issues sometimes in a very confronting environment. It is interesting to see with his support how the women find themselves and learn so much about each other. I felt the author demonstrated a deep understanding of human relations and how to support people within a group environment.
