Twilight With The Infamous Earl (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

If you're a fan of Lords of Vice Series then there's a big chance you'd like it. From the blurb I was excited but when I read it.... Uh... (I couldn't put my finger on it) I just can't say that it's great-only good. The writing was not overly bad but not that good either. I hated introducing a lot of characters in the first gathering seen. My head was spinning because why the hell would I care about other character's back story?! That's the reason why I skipped their story and just read this one. HELLO?????!!!!!The secondary characters weren't the stars (hence the word secondary) so why are they in most scenes?! Can't the author just pick some parts where they are NECESSARY TO THE PLOT.There is hanging by a thread on Emma and Frost's instantaneous love affair. Frost appeared to be mesmerized by Emma and next he kissed her. Sure, he's a charming womanizer but to lose control in kissing, tsk tsk tsk. That's no enough reason to do such act. This needed a lot of improvement in characterizations. And for the most part, I wasn't engaged into the story. There was nothing to look out for, it's on the borderline of being boring. I neither hate it or like it. A very satisfying read to close out the series! We finally get to read Frost's story and it did not disappoint! With all the other Lords of Vices married and settling down with their new and growing families, Frost begins to feel like the odd man out. He gets invited to all the outings with them but unlike the others who have paired off, he's always alone. So he jumps at the chance to handle an outspoken female, Emily Cavell, who they believed was stirring up trouble and trying to get Nox shut down. Frost had previously had a run-in with Emily and was quite interested in her because she didn't melt into his arms when he turned on the charm. It was really great seeing how Frost slowly changed to let Emily in and how he began to understand that he was growing as a person. Emily's no slouch herself and she kept Frost hopping even as she fell under his spell.Love the Lords of Vice series and I'm quite interested to see if we'd possibly get more since they left it open ended with the new, younger, Lords of Vice taking over Nox.

What do You think about Twilight With The Infamous Earl (2013)?

Oh dear, Frost, such a disappointment for a finale. Super series but this one failed the rest.

No chemistry, no reason for them to like each other, nothing really made sense.

Frost was my favorite of all the Lords of Vice men. I enjoyed his book.
