Unbreakable Bond (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

Cute, fun read. Nothing super-spectacular or mind-blowingly twisty, but sometimes you just want to sit back and have fun reading. I kept thinking, this must be what reading an episode of Remington Steele would be like (if it was all Stephanie Z. and no Pierce Brosnan). There are a couple flirtatious moments, but no real romantic interactions. I might try out the next book at some point, but to be honest it's not at the top of my priority list. I have read pretty much every Gemma Halliday book out there, but as with Luck be a Lady (which I ended up loving by the way) I was hesitant to start a series that was a collaboration, cause those don't always go that well, but I got some time and decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did! It was a fantastically fun read and most importantly hilarious. The dialogue between all the characters had me laughing out loud a number of times. The hot love interests didn't hurt either. I'm definitely rooting for Danny, but you never know Aiden might worm his way into my heart. This book was so hard to put down that I devoured it in only a few hours. If you haven't done so pick it up now. It's worth your money and time. Can't wait for the next adventure!
