Gisele looked out at the boats dotting the harbor under the bright sky overhead. “I used to come out here often to walk along the lake.” She squeezed Micah’s hand. “Have you been to Chicago before?” “A few times, but I can’t say I got to know the city. I didn’t do the things most visitors do.” Gisele took his hand to guide him toward the center of the park to Buckingham Fountain. The pink marble fountain had four seahorses spewing water, and the massive center was in a sort of wedding-cake shape, with a center jet that shot a spray many feet high.
