Dan Ariely has a lot of compelling things to say about our behavior, which he backs up with voluminous and detailed accounts of behavioral economics research. A quick and fun read with lots of fun examples of our human quirks. It is the type of book you find yourself stopping and reading aloud segments to the people around you. Our young adult brought it to our attention and found it persuasive. You can read it in chunks, and pick it up almost anywhere and find a nugget that makes you stop and think. Excellent book! Experiments and studies that analyse our behaviour and logic. Simple to read even for people that are not familiarized with study methodologies but detailed enough for those that need a little bit of data. I love the way he writes and his modesty (coupled with curiosity and intelligence). At the end of the book you cannot not feel a certain respect for Dan Ariely and his work...I wish I could do what he does.
Professor Ariely kicks ass, as usual.
