Lady Antonia Hilliard has a past that haunts and colors her future. Nicholas Challoner, Marquess of Ranelaw has a past he wants to avenge. When their goals and missions collide there are fireworks, and two people who think they can't be together start to forge a future.I enjoyed this book. It's intense and full of emotion with characters who are broken but can be fixed by love. The story isn't a traditional historical romance where the characters are governed by protocol. They step outside boundaries, and I liked this. I need to read more of Ms. Campbell's books. Anna has more than just a way with words, she has an ability to make anyone willing to give historical romance a chance become engrossed in her tale. Ranelaw is a man - the kind you think you are in your head, try to be in front of your friends, and desperately want to be in front of women. But his character goes deeper than the primal urges instilled at puberty: revenge on par with Monte Cristo drives him hips first towards the young Demarest, only to be turned by an equally interesting character in Antonia. The scenes between these two make a turtle of a reader like myself into a hare, eyes blasting across the lines and pages, eager to see who will get the upper hand. I had the privilege of meeting Anna at the 2012 Brisbane Writer's Festival and she was equal parts cheerful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She knows her audience and delivers powerful prose which never misses a step in the delicate "dance" of the romance genre.
What do You think about Uykusuz Geceler (2012)?
Anna's books are a treat. Always can be relied upon for some luscious, emotional turmoil.

Karakterler çok fazla iç sesleri ile konuşdular ve bu da sıkıcı geldi bana :D
