Well, anyways Jack and Annie went to the tree house in the middle of the night and wished to go to Pompeii, Rome to get this ancient scroll for Morgan. The wind blew and next thing they new Jack and Annie where there. Next they found the library, to find the scroll. There were hundreds of scrolls so it will take a lot of time but, they don’t have a lot of time. Outside, the volcano was about to erupt and fiery ashes fell to the ground. The tree house would not leave, until they had the scroll. What are they going to do? Are they going to survive? I thought this was a great book. I liked how you never know what was going to happen next. Like the volcano erupting. The ending was the best part of the whole book. This book was one of those books that were hard to put down all the time. Why? Well the beginning was a little boring but the more you read the book got better. I felt like my eyes were glued to the book and could not come unglued no matter what you do. This book is special because not so many books is so imaginative. Most book leave you wanting more excitement and adventure but, not this one. This book leave you on the edge of your seat.I think Sixth graders and up should avoid reading this book if you think the first paragraph was kiddish for you but, I suggest to read this magnificent book because it got my attention..

This book is about a brother and sister named Jack and Annie. They went on a adventure to roam or ancient Times when people believed in "Hercules".their family was taking a vacation.Annie had a nightmare with balls of fire and a volcano erupting, but Jack and Annie does not know that I is going to happen in Roam.Jack and Annie was walking to Frog Creek woods to see. Morgan Le Fay.She is a magic Librarian.she gave Jack and Annie a mission to go to Roam.Morgan Le Fay gave them a mission to go to to Roam because she wants them to find a lost scroll as a book in Roam's library.when they arrived,Annie felt a shake on the ground.Jack told Annie to forget about it.So when they went into the city an old lady told them "IT IS COMING TO AN END"!!!!!!Jack and Annie ran because they thought she was weird.Jack looked up the old women in the book and it said that these old women can tell the future.Annie went back to talk to the old women and Jack followed. They both talked to her and she told them again that Roam Is coming to an end.Now Jack and Annie understood what she ment! There was a volcano at the top of the mountain. As soon as the volcano erupted Annie made a wish that Hercules can save them and he did.He took them to the treehouse so they can go home. Now they can have a good vacation!

What do You think about Vacation Under The Volcano (1998)?

I remember reading the Magic Treehouse series during Middle School, and they were always entertaining. I loved how they went all around the world, all throughout history, and you learned about different places and time periods as you followed your favorite characters through wonderful adventures. It was really cool. I recommend these books to your little adventurer. They are sure to not disappoint. Do it! Read the book, because who knows what new world one might fall into? What interesting characters with interesting lives you might meet and fall in love with? You won't know if you like it unless you give it a try. You won't know if you love them unless you crack open the cover and say "Chapter One...." What's the worst that could happen? The universe could implode.... but that's very unlikely. Honestly, what have you got to lose?

tThe magic tree house is a series book, there is many story about the main character. But I chose this book because in my school library has only this series of all. I felt sad because I like the first book more.tThis book have easy plot, because it has a lot of books in the series so to summarize them all is hard. The two main character was the big brother and the younger sister who travels through the tree house to do certain mission that the master librarian beg them to help, Which makes two of them so dynamic in every moment they go to different place. They also met many new friends and people know various culture and the way something is around the world.

Again, I appreciate the historical accuracy here. The togas and sandals for Jack and Annie were accurate, as were the descriptions of the shops on the streets and the baths. This might be a very fun way for my students, who have just spent a few months learning about ancient Rome, to get a more first-hand view of it.The one thing I noticed that wasn't QUITE accurate (and even my students should be able to recognize this, so I'm not worried about leaving this in the classroom library to read) was the description of the eruption. I think they'd also enjoy the ending and finding out who it was that rescued Jack and Annie at the end.
